Shadow MC Semi-Vanilla Crossplay SMP
Custom Explorationexploration focusedno tnt dupingSemi VanillaSMP Community
Shadow MC is a new semi vanilla SMP that is made for people who like a more chill survival world. It has custom biomes and structures so exploring the world actually feels different and fun.
The server is cross platform so both Java and Bedrock players can join and play together. There are some quality of life plugins that make things smoother but it still keeps a survival feeling.
The Nether is open so you can travel fast and farm stuff but the End is closed right now. TNT duping is turned off and mob griefing like creeper explosions is disabled so your builds are safer.
The community is described as friendly and welcoming and there are frequent events. It feels like a place where you can just join and slowly build with other players and not worry too much about your stuff getting ruined.

This server is for people who want to make scripted Minecraft videos and tell stories together. It is not just random survival. The idea is to plan scenes and make cool moments kind of like the Unstable Universe style.
The server is made for both Java and Bedrock players so everyone can join and be in the same world. The owner wants to use that to do crazy ideas with players from both versions in the same story.
People who join can help with planning and acting in the videos. You can also learn how to make your own scripted Minecraft videos in the future.
If you want to help build scenes act in episodes or just be part of a story focused SMP this server is looking for you.

New Chill 18+ Semi Vanilla SMP
adult communitycrossplay supportearly game startfresh worldrespect rules
This is a new survival SMP world that just started and it is still really fresh. Most of the map is unexplored and no one has been to the Nether or the End yet. It feels like a real day one server where you can grow with everyone else.
The server is semi vanilla survival and it is set to hard mode. It runs on both Java and Bedrock and most players are adults. People say the community is very welcoming and there is a mix of creative builders explorers and redstone nerds.
The rules are strict about respect so people act chill and mature but everyone can play in their own style. There are community projects and events and the world and discord are both active. There are a few long term members but most players are new so you will not feel behind.
You need discord to get whitelisted and to talk with everyone since all the communication happens there.

DeadMan’s Land Classic Factions PvP
Classic Factionsempire-buildinghardcore survivalRaiding Allowedsurvival combat
DeadMan's Land is a classic style factions server where everything is about survival and strength. It feels really intense because the whole idea is kill or be killed.
You can make a faction with friends and build up a base. You can try to become an empire and control more land. You can also go after other players and raid them if you want to be more ruthless.
The server is built around classic factions gameplay and balanced pvp. There are custom events too so it is not just grinding all the time. It feels like there is always some fight or adventure happening.
The whole vibe is pretty simple. Form factions. Raid rivals. Claim territory. Only the strongest players and teams will last for long.

Nation-States Semi-Vanilla Towny Roleplay
balanced gameplaycompetitive playfriendly communityLore-drivenSemi Vanilla
Nation States is a new semi vanilla server that is all about building nations and telling stories. It uses the towny claiming system so you can make towns and turn them into big countries with your friends.
The whole server is focused on nationbuilding diplomacy trade war and lots of interaction between players. People are encouraged to roleplay and make lore for their nations. You can make allies or enemies and fight over land on a custom map that is about 5k by 5k.
The theme is early antiquity so it feels like playing in really old times with young empires and new kingdoms. The server wants everyone to follow the spirit of the server. That means you should be here for fun roleplay lore and conflicts and not just to ruin the experience for others.
If someone does not follow those core principles they can be removed so the server stays fun and competitive for everyone. It is also crossplatform including console so lots of different players can join and be part of the same world.

Epic Bedrock Addons Survival Clans
clan warfareCommunity SurvivalCustom Armoreastern timezonenpc colonies
This is a Bedrock server that runs on Atlanta Eastern Time. It opens at 9am EST and closes at 3am EST so it is online for 18 hours every single day.
The server is all about addons and modded style gameplay. You can just explore and survive while you find new mobs new pets new structures new bosses and new weapons and armor. You can also build and manage a colony with citizen npcs where you make homes for them and give them different roles.
There are clans on the server. You can make your own clan join someone else or stay solo. You still play around other players so you can work together or just survive near them.
The world is meant to last for years so it is a forever world. The server updates along with vanilla Minecraft. That means when new vanilla updates drop you can still enjoy that content even if you get bored of the addon stuff.
The owner uses a custom performance addon and tweaks other addons to make the game run as smooth as possible even with a bunch of players online.
Rules are strict but fair. There is land claim so if you protect your base you will not lose your items or builds to other players. But unclaimed areas are different because there are no rules against stealing there. It is your job to claim your home and be careful who you trust.

Foggy Willows True Vanilla Survival
community-drivenFresh Survivallong-term worldNo datapacksno Sethome
Foggy Willows is a server for people who want Minecraft without any extra stuff. It runs on the normal vanilla jar with no plugins and no datapacks. Everything is just how the game was made.
The world is in hard mode so mobs hit really hard and you have to actually think before you run around at night. There is no teleport and no sethome so you travel by walking boats and nether tunnels if you make them.
There is no fancy spawn with walls of signs. You basically get dropped in and you figure things out yourself. Players are expected to handle their own drama and solve their own problems. You play how you want and build what you want.
There are no donations and there is no world border so it feels like an open world that keeps going. Technical Minecraft players are welcome here because the server stays on the latest stable vanilla jar and it is self hosted on a machine built for it.
If you like servers that are simple and feel like singleplayer but with other people around this is that kind of place.

Ultimate Hardcore One Life Vanilla PvP
brutal survivalGrief allowedhardcore survivalno paywinsurvival veterans
This server is called Ultimate Hardcore and it is actually hardcore. There is no pay to win and there are no resets. You only get one life and when you die you are done.
It is a vanilla survival world with very few rules. You cannot cheat but griefing is allowed and PvP is allowed. So other players can ruin your base or jump you when you least expect it.
Over 2,500 players already tried to survive here in less than a month which is kind of insane. Everyone is trying to stay alive as long as possible because death is permanent.
If you like high pressure survival and you want every move to matter this server is built for that one life experience.

This is a small anarchy style SMP where there are no mods and basically anything goes. It feels like pure chaos and that is kind of the point.
The server runs on Paper and it is not cracked. It is a normal SMP on version 1.21.10 so you just join and start playing.
Right now the server is really empty so if you join you can pretty much shape the world however you want. If you like wild random stuff and do not care about rules this place is for you.

Beauty In Blocks Modded SMP 1.21.1
exploration focusedLand claimingmodded survivalnether adventureterrain overhaul
Beauty in Blocks is a small modded SMP with a really pretty world. The terrain is made using Terralith and Tectonic and there are extra biomes and dimensions so exploring actually feels fresh.
When you first join you get a guide book that explains the important mods and what they change. The book even links to the mod wikis so it is easy to learn what is going on without needing to search everything yourself.
The server runs a land claim system called Flan. You start with some claim blocks and you earn more as you spend time on the server. Claims cover the surface and go down so you do not hit random invisible walls under bases.
There is proximity voice chat so people can talk when they are near each other in game. The server encourages people to interact and hang out. Your voice can even be heard by skulk and mobs so you have to be careful when you talk in dangerous places.
Loot in chests and barrels can restock daily so both new players and older players can still find useful items while exploring.
The server uses performance mods like Sodium ModernFix and Distant Horizons so the game runs smoother and big views work better.
Joining is simple because there is a modpack that already has the server details set up. You can also join by installing things yourself if you want.
