This server feels like an old school vanilla world that never really stopped. The world started in 2011 so you can find really old terrain and ruins and then run into newer areas if you explore far enough. Spawn is in an ocean biome so you have to swim or use a boat just to even find land which makes the start feel like a little adventure.
The gameplay is mostly pure survival with just a few datapacks that make life easier. You can set homes with triggers and warp back to spawn and you can have up to 10 homes. There is nothing extra that changes terrain or adds crazy items. Sometimes player heads and mob heads can drop when you fight which is fun to collect.
The community is a small group of long time friends and most players are in their mid twenties or older. People are mostly from the US with some Russian and Polish speakers too.
