Farmlands SMP is a cozy Minecraft survival server that feels really calm and relaxed. It has a small whitelisted community and it is made for players who like to take their time and not rush everything.
The main idea is long term survival where big builds and farms actually matter. You can settle down build a base and work on big projects and the main world is meant to last so your work does not just disappear.
There are separate worlds too. One main world is only for bases builds and player projects. Then there is a resource world that resets so you can gather materials without wrecking your home area.
The rules are pretty simple and strict. No griefing no stealing and no toxicity. The server stays close to vanilla but it has some small quality of life features and a custom advancement pack to give extra challenges.
The economy is all about players. You trade with other people or open your own shop. There are no ranks and no pay to win so your progress comes from your own effort.

Lumoria is a modded SMP on Java 1.20.1 with Fabric and it feels really relaxed and chill. It is run by a small group of friends who just want more people to hang out with and play Minecraft.
The server uses a curated mod list with new monsters weapons armor mounts resources furniture and cosmetics plus other fun stuff. It is still survival and it feels like a normal world but with more things to discover and collect.
The main goal on Lumoria is to explore build and discover things together. People try to make the world feel lived in with real bases roads and spots that look like someone actually lives there. It is not sweaty and it is not competitive so you do not have to worry about tryhards.
They also use proximity voice chat so talking to people feels natural. You can bump into someone while exploring chat while building or team up for random adventures just by being near them.

This is a brand new modded SMP called GildedAbyss and it is all about the community and how players interact with the world.
Season 1 has not fully started yet and the owner is waiting to see how many people join first. There will be events and new stuff added before the opening so it feels like the world is getting ready.
The server has lots of extra biomes from mods like Biomes O Plenty and Terralith so exploring feels way more interesting. There are special items you can get with certain methods so it is not just basic vanilla loot.
You can pick an aspect which is like choosing a race in game and use its advantages. There are more ores than normal so progression feels more fun with new tools and weapons instead of the usual gear.

Everwaves SMP is a vanilla style survival server that feels really clean and simple. The world is pretty new and it just reset so you are not super far behind if you join now.
The server runs Minecraft 1.21.11 and it has a live 3D map you can open in your browser. You can literally watch players move around and build on the map before you even apply. It is cool because you can see the world and the builds first.
The play style is trust based. There are no land claim plugins no towny and no heavy economy plugins. People build and trade in a shared shopping district kind of like Hermitcraft. The goal is big builds shops and long term survival.
