Oathwood SMP is a survival server with towny and an economy. It feels like a place where people want to build a long term world and not just rush through everything.
Players can make towns and claim land so their builds are safe. There are player run shops using shopkeepers and it makes trading feel like a real little marketplace.
Builds are protected with ChestLock so you can relax a bit more while you work on your base or town.
The server is made for both Java and Bedrock players so more friends can join in the same world. It has balanced long term survival gameplay and aims for a real community vibe instead of just quick minigames.

This server is called CheesyCraft Redux and it is a semi vanilla survival world. It feels like normal Minecraft but with some custom features that are made just for this server.
The owner and staff code their own content and the community helps make textures so the game still looks and feels like Minecraft. There are some quality of life commands and features so it is easier to play but it does not feel like a crazy modpack.
They do not spam you with crates or random cosmetics or stuff that feels like bloat. It is more about quality over quantity and just playing survival with some nice upgrades.
There is grief protection and voice chat plus tools to keep the world safe. The people who work on the server are also builders and programmers so they really care about how it looks and plays.
If you want a survival server where the extras are made by the community and not just bought this place seems good.

Mystic Mechanism is a modded Java SMP that feels really chill and cozy. It uses a modpack called Runic Engine where you can focus on magic tech or other styles of progression. The server is all about survival and playing together over a long time.
The community is very respectful and people like to collaborate on builds explore and slowly progress. PvP is not forced and only happens in arenas so you can relax if you just want to build or adventure. There are regular community events and challenges that keep things from getting boring.
The server does not have pay to win stuff and it focuses on being fair and stable. There are clear rules and active moderation so things stay friendly. The owner runs the server directly and listens to feedback which makes it feel more personal and community focused.

This server is trying to be like those big donut smp style worlds but in a smaller chill way. It has an economy so you can earn and spend money instead of just grinding alone.
Each player gets a 16×16 plot so you have your own little spot to build and not get in other peoples way. It feels organized but still simple.
There is a shop command so you can buy and sell stuff and it makes survival feel more like a little town world. The owner is just looking for kind players who want to help the server grow and not be toxic.
Anyone can join and it really feels like they want a friendly community more than sweaty tryhard pvp. If you like small servers that are starting out and want to be there from the beginning this one seems pretty good.

Arctic MC is a calm towny survival server where the world feels really cozy. The custom world generation has big valleys and hills so it is fun to explore and look for a place to build your next huge base or town.
The server uses Towny and Factions so you can start a town with friends or join someone else or try to make your own territory. It also has McMMO so your skills level up as you play and you feel like you are getting stronger over time.
There is Slimefun with tons of custom machines tools and materials so you can make crazy automations and mess with high tech stuff without leaving survival.
The community feels relaxed and friendly and the whole server atmosphere is calm so it is good if you just want to build hang out and talk without a lot of chaos or drama.
