Hardcore Anarchy With 5 Lives
I found a hardcore anarchy smp that started on New Years Eve and it is made for people who want real risk.
You get 5 deaths total and then you are banned forever. Every time you die you also lose 2 hearts so it gets harder and harder to stay alive.
There are basically no rules and there is no land claiming and no teleporting. You can raid and grief and fight if you want or you can try to hide and only trust yourself.
It also works with voice chat so it can be good for making stories and friendships or just total betrayal.

This is a small modded server running All The Mons from the ATM team with ATM10 and Cobblemon. The world is fresh and the server started about a week ago so it is still early.
The group is 18 plus and they call it semi tox. People hop in voice chat a lot and players range from total noobs to experts.

CaveMC is a semi anarchy survival server that feels like vanilla but more intense. The wild part is the whole overworld is underground so there is no surface at all. You just live in a huge cave world with biomes resources and structures everywhere.
Season 2 is out so it is a fresh start with a bunch of new stuff. The server says survival is brutal and you have to be smart to last.
There is also a Wasteland Dimension opening on November 8th. It adds new gear to fight over plus giant mega structures with secrets. It also has its own currency so players can trade in a new economy. This server is a fresh economy Towny SMP with PvP. It is all about building up your town and playing in a survival world where fighting can happen.
The economy is a big deal here and your rank is based on your balance. It also says no pay to win so it feels more fair.

MCVerse is a mostly vanilla survival server made for long term projects and long breaks. The world is permanent and it is built around not losing your stuff to grief. It is a chill place where you can build at your own pace and not worry about resets.
The main survival SMP is a classic grind but you can also use player markets if you want. There are claims plus a map and stuff like clans and fishing contests. You can rank up for free just by playing and all perks are available for free.
Chat is kept pretty clean with low tolerance for swearing. Public chat is meant to stay on Minecraft and gaming topics.
There is also a hardcore vanilla mode that is no grief and has extra biome variety. If you want something simpler there is a vanilla no grief server with smaller claims and worlds that run for about 6 to 12 months. There is a creative plots server too for testing and basic experimenting.
