    I found Goober SMP and it is a brand new Vanilla plus Java server. It started just a few days ago and it already has around 20 active players so it feels alive.

    The server is mostly vanilla but it adds small stuff to make multiplayer more fun. PvP is allowed and people are into building and hanging out so you can fight or make cool projects.

    It runs on Java 1.21.11 and it has whitelist on so you need to get added before you can play. It also supports SVC mods and has a head drop plugin so players can drop their heads.

    They want a player driven world with towns and community builds. Server wide events are planned too so sometimes it can get chaotic.

    It has custom items you can earn in game like tools and weapons seasonal items utility items and rare collectibles. The crates are part of it too and the keys are earned by getting advancements so it is not locked behind money.

    There is an economy with a player auction house and the staff runs frequent events like jail events competitions and bigger admin events where you can win rare rewards. The server is also tuned for performance and has an active staff team.

    I found a brand new geopolitical Minecraft server that started today so everybody is on the same level. There are no stacked kingdoms yet and it feels like the best time to jump in and not be behind.

    It is about making nations and picking sides. People do alliances then they argue then they trade then they plan wars. The politics part is a big deal so you can do diplomacy and strategy with other groups.

    Java and Bedrock can play together. The Nether and the End are locked for now so progression stays balanced early on. There is proximity chat so you can talk to players near you which makes meetups feel real.

    They say the community is mature and the server stays active with players on through the day.

    1812 Warfare Earth Movecraft Towny

    This is a realistic 1812 era server built around national strategy and big wars on land and at sea. The main goal is naval supremacy plus land sieges and planning with your nation.

    It has custom weapon stuff like unique gun models and spears turned into cavalry lances. The sound is redone so muskets and cannons feel heavy. Muskets hit for 5 hearts no matter what armor you wear. You can only carry one and they reload slow and are not super accurate so nobody can spam them.

    For fights there is buffed cavalry with much faster horses so riding matters. There are also Movecraft field cannons that can one shot players but they are expensive and slow to aim. On the ocean you can control sea zones for weekly income and the nation that holds a sea zone decides who can launch naval invasions through it.

    Nation leaders can pick a tiered doctrine path to match their style and your nation can level up to unlock stronger buffs. For defense there are custom villagers with special trades and they can get Strength and Resistance to help during a siege.

    The first live testing is planned for March. Nation applications open when the Discord hits 150 members. You can earn 1000 in game money for every 10 people you invite and top recruiters get a Founding Father title. The server is not out yet and it is projected for early June.

    I found a Java server that is going for a Hermitcraft kind of vibe. The main idea is to build a lot and hang out with other players.

    It is 18+ and it is mostly vanilla. They add some quality of life mods to make things smoother and they also have a couple mods that help builders.

    The rules are chill. No pvp unless both people agree and no raiding bases or breaking other peoples builds. They want players to interact host events and make a shopping district then just have fun.
