This is a hardcore vanilla style SMP where death is a really big deal. If you die you are gone for good unless another player decides to save you. When you die your head stays where you fell. Someone else can pick it up and use a special revival shrine to bring you back if they want to spend the effort and tons of resources.
Because of that the server feels super social. You are safer if other people actually care if you stay alive. Alliances form and break and people remember who helped and who just walked away. There is no pay to win and no way to buy loot so what you do in game is what matters.
The world is almost infinite with a world border far away so you can wander off and live alone if you really want to. But trading heads and helping revive friends pulls everyone back together. The server runs Fabric so redstone and TNT duping and stuff like that works and people can build crazy machines and cannons.
The player base is still pretty small and growing so reputations form fast and your choices actually stick. The towns are half built the world is still fresh and it has not been griefed into a crater yet. If you want a place where early days matter and survival feels earned this server is worth checking out.

MangoSMP is a pretty chill vanilla plus survival server. It feels like a normal Minecraft world but with some extra stuff that makes it easier to live in long term.
The main world never resets so you can build big bases without worrying they will get wiped. If you just want to gather materials there are resource worlds for that so the main world can stay nice.
There are land claims so people can protect their builds. There are player warps so you can move around to different spots players set up.
The server has a player economy with shops and an auction house. There are jobs and quests and orders so you always have something to do while you earn money.
PvP is not forced on you. There is a PvP toggle and also an arena. You can keep your inventory or choose to risk everything depending on how you like to play.
There is a spawner collection system called Divine Touch. There are also cosmetics crates and vote rewards for people who like collecting stuff.

This server is called TerraTrove SMP and it is a vanilla world for adults only. It is community focused and you have to be whitelisted to join. The server has been running since 2023 and they are starting Season 5 on January 24 2026.
The server is made for people who like Minecraft but do not have tons of time to grind all day. It feels cozy and safe so you can log in after work or school and just relax. You can build and explore and make a base without worrying about griefers or people speedrunning and ignoring everyone.

LegacyMC is a vanilla anarchy server that feels really raw and simple. When you join it is just survival with no rules and no limits. There are no land claims and no teleports so you are never really safe and you have to walk everywhere.

Nihility SMP is an Earth Towny server where players actually shape history instead of just grinding for hours.
The world is a big Earth map so you can pick your favorite spot and turn it into a town or even a whole nation. Players create every town every nation every alliance and every war. Nothing is pre made.
