BirdCraft is an adult Minecraft Discord community, group of friends, and a vanilla-ish Minecraft Java SMP. We started our Sixth Season 1 week ago, so the world is still new! We welcome players over the age of 21+ to join our community focused on kindness, support, and having fun together.

Q: What kind of events and contests do you host?

A: We host regular events and building contests. Each season, we have a UHC event on an old season map and other fun events like playing Cub’s Total Chaos.

Q: Are client side mods allowed on the server?

A: Yes, we encourage client side mods such as maps as long as they are fair and do not give players a significant advantage.

Q: What is the current theme for the season?

A: This season we have a mountain spawn and are hosting a contest to build an alpine village around spawn.

Q: When does the End open up and what rewards are available?

A: The End usually opens up a couple weeks after the server start. The dragon drops an elytra with each death so everyone can have wings, as we are “birbs” after all.

    Player Run Empire Modded Survival

    CaliCraft is a player run Minecraft server where the community shapes what happens. Every two weeks players elect an Emperor and that person can actually change the server. They can add or remove plugins across any gamemode make laws and even imprison people including staff.

    If you get marked as a fugitive you can end up spawning in prison when you die. You can also get dragged in handcuffs if you get caught. The Emperor has to follow a Constitution but they can make temporary laws during their reign. Some laws can become permanent through a 3 day Discord poll.

    There is a lobby first and it helps you jump into different gamemodes fast. The server supports versions 1.17.1 to 1.21.10 and it supports both Java and Bedrock.

    The gamemodes include Modded Survival with custom enchantments skills jobs an auction house an economy custom dungeons and vote crates with epic gear. It is a claim world with a kingdom run by the Emperor. There is also Vanilla Survival with quests chest sorting and daily rewards. Skyblock is here too with classic islands and some addons.

    There is also a Cobblemon mode on a separate Fabric server so you need the Cobblemon modpack installed. The server has a custom resource pack with unique mobs animals elites and dungeon bosses with special drops so it does not feel like plain vanilla.

    DotSMP Vanilla Economy SMP With VC

    DotSMP is a new SMP that keeps it simple with pure vanilla survival and a player economy. It is made for people who want to play normal Minecraft and still have trading and money stuff with other players.

    The server has a big spawn area and it feels like a small community so far. It also supports VC which makes it easier to talk while you build or explore.

    There are teleport commands like tpa and tphere plus rtp so you can meet up fast or find a random place to start. The owner is asking for feedback so the server can improve as it grows.

    The first 50 players that join get a free diamond armor kit.

    Spellbooks Chaos With Friends Modpack

    This is a modded server built around magic and spellbook gameplay. It is based on a pack centered on spell casting and it also has extra gear and storage mods so you can haul more stuff and keep your base organized.

    World gen and exploring is a big deal here since it uses a bunch of popular structure mods. You can loot around and mess with dungeons and travel easier with waystones.

    The rules are simple and it is mostly an honor code vibe. Do not be mean and do not use cheat mods. TNT duping is allowed but giant world eater machines are not wanted.

    Project E exists but it is heavily limited with an EMC loss and it is mostly for building blocks. The End is closed for now so people can fight over it later.

    Rally Your Banner in Medieval Survival

    Halcyon is a Lands PvP server that is trying to feel like a medieval world. It is built by a postgraduate medievalist and it sticks to an old school survival style while still running on vanilla Minecraft 1.21.11. The server is based in Australia but people play from Europe the Americas and Asia and it usually has 10 to 30 players on at a time.

    The world is handmade and the rules are set up to make the game harder and slower. It is not about doing the best meta tricks. It is more about teamwork skill and big player stories like fighting for land making trade deals and building huge cities and fortresses. A big part is getting other players to follow your banner.

    There is no teleportation so traveling actually matters. Players end up making long roads waystations and even secret underground rail lines. Some crops and saplings only work in certain biomes so trading becomes important and each area can feel different.

    There is no forced lore and no pre made adventure. People can just play normally and see what happens when others get involved. The server is designed to help stories happen and players have already been making art books myths and weird superstitions.

    Night cannot be skipped and healing is slow and only works in certain conditions so you have to be careful.

    This is a survival server where the world is built by the players. People make towns and grow them into nations over time.

    You can fight other players or try to make friends first. A lot of the fun is forming bonds and then breaking them when the story turns.

    It is meant to be long term with years of development and story telling. There are no scripts so it is controlled chaos made by whoever shows up and takes control.
