This server is a classic prison style world that feels like the old days before everything was super overpowered. You start with basic tools and leather armor and you actually have to grind to get stronger and rank up.
You mine and have to smelt your ores yourself. To sell them you walk through pvp zones to the commissary so it feels risky and tense. Swords and potions are illegal and if guards see you with them they will pvp you. Guards also protect new players and can send people to solitary confinement for bad behavior.
There are normal prison ranks you work through and when you hit the top rank you can prestige for special rewards. After you reach parolee you can leave the main prison and build a farm to earn even more money. There are also quests for extra cash or unique items.
You can rent a prison cell or a prison plot to store your stuff grow illegal plants and make your own shop. Illegal crops are a big thing here and give profit if guards do not catch you. There is an auction house system and a bounty board where you can put bounties on enemies or claim them. There is also custom fishing and parkour challenges all around the prison.
The server feels focused on grinding risk and community instead of crazy op gear. It rewards people who like slow progress pvp danger and prison roleplay with guards criminals and parolees.

This is a survival plain style server that is on season 2 right now. It is a lifesteal server so fights are scary and you have to be careful because hearts really matter.
The players here are pretty competitive. Some are really skilled and some are not that good yet but everyone still plays together. It feels fun to watch them fight and survive.
Two people record on this server and upload videos to their small youtube channels so sometimes you might end up in a video. Next season they want to switch the lifesteal to a strength based idea so it will change and stay fresh.
They are also looking for builders so if you like building you can help shape the world and make cool stuff for everyone.

LuckyGemSMP is a really calm vanilla survival server that is all about trust and long term gameplay. It does not use pay to win stuff and it does not try to be super fancy. It just feels like classic Minecraft survival with people who want to play fair.
The server is whitelisted so players get reviewed before joining. This helps keep the community safe and relaxed. There is no PvP so no one is running around trying to kill you all the time. It is more about building cool bases exploring the world and working together.

This is a semi vanilla survival server that feels really chill and mature. It is focused on building and slowly progressing the world instead of rushing everything.
The server has no griefing because there are claims and rollback plugins. So your builds are safe and you can actually work on big projects without worrying.
The world is long term with no planned resets so players can settle down and make cool bases that last a long time.
There is a simple economy with a shop and different ways to make money. It also uses a vanilla style jobs system so you can earn while you play.
PvP is not the main thing here but there is a toggle so players can choose to do PvP only if they both want to.

PurpleSMP is a small survival server that feels really simple but also pretty polished. It is focused on PVE so you can relax and build without getting hunted by random people.
The server uses mcMMO so you can level up skills while you mine and grind for resources. There is a player based economy with no set shops and no server money so all value comes from what players trade and build.
You can claim land to keep your builds safe. Every block placed or broken is logged. Your inventory is also backed up whenever you join or leave or die so staff can restore stuff if someone breaks the rules.
PvP is off by default but you can toggle it if you want to mess around with friends. There are playervaults so you get extra secure storage besides your normal inventory.
The server runs a strong anti cheat. When someone sets it off staff get alerted in Discord and the plugin reacts until a staff member can check what happened.
There is an online map that looks like a map website so you can see the world and find new areas to explore. The server is made to be long term with lots of unexplored land still out there.
Discord is required to play and the goal is to have a calm place to enjoy newer versions of Minecraft without toxic players.
