BeagleSMP is a modded Minecraft server that still feels like normal Minecraft. It adds mods that make the game more fun and interesting but it does not change the heart of the game.
The community feels tight and welcoming. Different play styles all fit in here. You can be a builder or PvPer or redstone person or grinder. You can also focus on lore and storytelling or just hang out with people.
Right now the server is starting Season 2 with a brand new world. There are new mods and new lore for everyone to enjoy. Resets do not happen a lot and are only done to give the server new life. If you build something cool it should last a long time.
The Season 2 theme is dragons and monsters. The server world is a land full of these creatures. With the Ice and Fire mod you can find dragons fight them and even tame them. You can act like a monarch and rule a kingdom or be a strong warrior or even a simple tavern keeper. There are also many other monsters plus custom structures and dungeons to explore.
The main theme is fantasy but you can still build and play however you want. The server lets you shape your own Minecraft experience and find the kind of fun you like.
