The server was formerly based in Malaysia under the leadership of Eugene before moving its focus to the Philippines. Over the years, BattleAsya has grown from a small community for both Malaysians and Filipinos into a more mature gaming network serving players across Southeast Asia. It aims to offer a low latency option and long term service for Minecraft players in the region.
