Everwaves SMP is a vanilla survival server that feels like a relaxed long term world. The map is new and it started about a week ago so there is still a lot of room to explore and build. You can even look at a live 3D web map before you join and watch people build and move around in real time.
The gameplay is survival with no land claims and no big economy systems. Players trade and sell stuff in a shared shopping district kind of like Hermitcraft. Everything is trust based so griefing is not the goal and the staff team keeps it fair and chill.
The server runs Minecraft 1.21.11 and uses a few vanilla plus quality of life tweaks. There is a DeathChest with a short timer so you can get your items back. Everyone gets one sethome command. The world has a huge border that is 30 million blocks wide and it never resets so everything you build or destroy stays. You always respawn within about 500 blocks of 0 0 so spawn is super rough and destroyed. The server runs on hard difficulty so mobs and hunger hit pretty hard.
There are no teleports or shortcuts so you walk or ride everywhere. It feels like real survival where every block matters. Over six thousand players have already joined since it launched in July 2023 so the world is already full of history and ruins.
