Back2Basics is a one of a kind server that started in December of 2023. Our goal is to provide players with a unique place to play survival on with their friends, that isn’t stuffed with 100 random plugins.

    I found Headrest SMP and it is a Paper server that is starting Season 2 today. It runs on 1.20.10 and it has a bunch of quality of life stuff like Terralith and other structure plugins.

    The vibe is roleplay with lore and factions. People build together and also fight other groups when drama starts. PvP is there but it is more like a side thing and not the whole point.

    There is a safe zone at spawn where players can build shops and hang out. They also use a simple voice chat mod so talking feels more real.

    They have plugins for stuff like no elytra during combat and combatlog and a sit command. The server also says it has a dedicated machine with 20GB of ram and a 5800x3d CPU to help keep lag down.

    I found a Minecraft Humans vs Zombies server where both teams are real players. Humans try to survive until the time runs out. Zombies try to infect everyone before that happens.

    Humans can hide in stash spots and set up sandbags and laser mines. They can also move around the arenas with pet bats and jetpacks. Zombies get lots of classes to pick from like a Fat Zombie that can break into stash spots and a Hunter Zombie that jumps around super fast.

    There is a custom grinding system too. There are smart bot zombies that drop stuff like bundles and power ups. The top mob killers each month can win prizes like VIP ranks and more.

    They also run weekly events like gaming nights and double rewards. There are monthly events for leaderboards and top killer so you always have something to chase.

    This is a modded server running a pack that is built around Create as the main thing. The whole point is to stop the usual cheesy loop where people rush farms and get infinite iron or gold and turn the server into a laggy mess.

    The gameplay is meant to feel harder and more planned out. You have to think about every cog and shaft and how you spend your stress units so your builds stay efficient and actually matter.

    It also tries to push a slower pace so people do not just rush big milestones right away. The vibe is more like an SMP where you can build up over time trade with others and even try to control the economy if you want.

    StarBorne is a sci fi survival SMP that works on crossplay and it is built around a story. The idea is that Earth fell apart and the last survivors get sent to an Earth like planet called Alpha Centauri. You are supposed to rebuild civilization from nothing and make the planet feel like home.

    The world is made to look inspiring and still survival friendly. There are unique structures to find and custom music that plays to help the whole place feel more immersive.

    It is on Chapter 1 called Alpha Centauri which is season 1. There is a big mall area called Arcadia and you can use /shop. Since the server is new you get the Pioneer rank for free forever when you join.
