AvalonEarth is a geopol earth smp server where players make nations and fight or live in peace. The world is based on Earth and the map scale is 1 to 500 so there is a lot of space for new countries and towns.
The server runs Towny which is used by a lot of earth smp servers. Here anyone can create a nation right away because you get starter money when you join. You do not need to grind first or meet some player requirement just to make a country.
There have been two seasons so far. The first season started in September and a big community formed from it. Now season two is running and many new players joined and the server is very active.
If you like conflict and wars this server has a lot of that. Nations can fight and compete for power. If you do not like wars you can also stay peaceful and avoid most of the fighting and just build and live your own life.
The main way to earn money is with jobs farming and fishing. More ways to make money are planned to be added. The server works on both Java and Bedrock so many players can join and play together.

I found a very early alpha server with a late medieval vibe where factions fight and the economy matters a lot.
You can go all in on warfare and PvP or you can grind progression like an MMO. You can also play more chill as a trader gatherer craftsman or contractor and still matter because factions need supplies and builds.
There are custom crops and custom furniture plus custom weapons that have unique effects. Mobs are stronger than vanilla and there are boss mobs that push you to party up.
Trading is meant to be safe since there is a secure trade window system and the main market hub is Osthaven where you spawn and trade. You can also set up temporary wilderness camps that are protected so you can hunt gather and travel.

The server runs on version 1.21.11 and it supports both Java and Bedrock so crossplay is a big part of it. There is a custom world made for exploring and setting up civilizations.
