It is made for players who like to go slow and work on long term builds and farms. The main world is meant to last so your base and projects stay important.
There is also a separate resource world that resets regularly so gathering materials does not mess up the place you live.
The vibe is safe and relaxed with no griefing no stealing and no toxicity. It stays close to vanilla with a few quality of life changes and a custom advancement pack for extra challenges.

NormalSMP is a semi vanilla semi anarchy survival server for people who want real risk. It is about grinding and progression and also PvP raids and griefing.
There is a playtime leveling system so being active matters. You can use restock shops and it feels made for grinding. You also get /home and /tpa so moving around is easier.
Teams are a big deal here with private chat and tags. Spawn has a green zone that is safe and also a red zone for PvP. Outside spawn it is survival rules and anything can happen.

The pack is huge with 300 plus mods so there is a lot to do. You can explore and loot big structures fight bosses and keep getting stronger. If you are more of a peaceful player there is also plenty of farming and cooking stuff to mess with.
