Waning Moon Festival on Halcyon Lands
Halcyon is a Lands PvP server that is trying to feel like a real medieval world. It was started by a postgraduate medievalist and it runs on the latest version of vanilla Minecraft 1.21.11. The server is based in Australia and people play from Europe the Americas and Asia. It usually has around 10 to 30 players online.
The world is handmade and it is meant to be harder and slower than normal survival. Night cannot be skipped and healing is slow and only works in certain conditions. The server pushes you away from meta automation and more toward creativity teamwork and picking a job to be good at.
There is no teleporting so travel matters a lot. Players end up making roads waystations and even secret railways underground. Crops and saplings are limited to certain biomes so trading becomes important and different areas start to feel unique.
There is not a strict lore you have to follow. People just play and the stories happen naturally as factions form deals get made and cities and fortresses rise up. BlenderMC is a Bedrock network that has a bunch of different servers inside it. The team says the mods used are not made by them.
It has servers that range from an RP City to survival servers. They also run limited time event servers so there is stuff that comes and goes.

WizeCraft is a mature survival server that is trying to grow into a really solid long term community. It started as a friends only world in August 2025 and opened applications to the public in September 2025. You have to be 21 or older and you are expected to be decent and chill.

I found a chill Java 1.20.1 Fabric SMP run by a couple friends who want more people to play with.
The whole point is exploring and building together and making a world that feels lived in. It is not sweaty and it is not competitive.
They use a curated mod list that adds new monsters and weapons and armor and mounts and resources and furniture and cosmetics. Setup is supposed to be easy.

ArcticMC is a new SMP survival server that started just a couple days ago. It is built around Towny and factions so you can make a town team up with other towns or take land for yourself.
PVP matters here but it is not meant to be toxic. They use an honor system and it gets explained in their rules so fights stay more fair.
There is McMMO skills so you level up while you play and unlock abilities as you go. The world also uses Tectonic generation so the terrain looks realistic with big mountains and nice valleys.
