This is a small modded Java server that feels really relaxed and chill. It is run by a couple friends who just want a calm place to play with other people who are 18 or older.
When I joined it did not feel sweaty or competitive at all. People like going on adventures together and just talking while they build. It feels more like hanging out than trying to be the best.
They use Discord and also have proximity voice chat. So when you walk near someone in game you can talk to them and it feels natural. You might bump into someone while exploring or building and end up teaming up for a little journey.
The whole point of the server is enjoying the journey and discovering things together. Over time the world starts to feel lived in because everyone builds and explores in a chill way instead of rushing everything.
If you want a calm modded place to relax and talk with a small friendly group this server is built exactly for that.

Golden Nations is a semi vanilla Minecraft server that is all about nations politics and battles. It feels like a geopolitical world where players create countries make alliances and break them when it helps their goals.
You can form a nation write rules for it and deal with other leaders. Diplomacy and strategy really matter here. Every alliance and every betrayal can change the whole server.
The economy is run by players. You can sell things like crops and ores but most items and power come from trading production and what nations decide to do with their resources.
War is super risky. If you die in an official war you get banned for 24 hours and your character gets fully reset. That means leaders have to plan carefully and battles are intense because losing actually hurts.
There is custom fishing with special loot so even fishing can help your nation get rare materials and important items.
There are no elytras and no villagers so you cannot just fly everywhere or get infinite trades. Travel borders terrain and player made systems are important again.
The world is 5,000 by 5,000 so it is pretty tight and nations run into each other fast. This makes early diplomacy conflict and cooperation happen all the time and every bit of land can be a strategic spot.

Vanguard SMP is a simple smp that is made for players who like real pvp. There are no plugins so you can make your own type of kit from normal Minecraft items and just play how you want.
Only a few items are banned like minecarts elytra mace and crystals. So the fights stay more fair and not super busted. It feels like classic pvp but still really intense.
This server is all about grinding and fighting. If you get mad when you die or you hate starting over then this server is probably not for you. The players here are supposed to be people who keep going and gear back up.
The first season will start once there is an active player base. So they are looking for people who actually want to play a lot and stick around.

RainFallMC is a simple survival SMP that feels really chill and not stressful. It stays close to normal Minecraft survival and does not throw a ton of weird plugins in your face. The server is all about fair play and no pay to win stuff.
There are some quality of life features that make things easier without breaking the game. You can use VeinMiner to break a whole ore vein or a whole tree just by mining one block and it still uses your tool durability. You can also claim land so your builds do not get griefed. PvP is not forced because there is a toggle so you only fight if you want to.
The server has villager buckets so moving villagers around is way less annoying. There is a server run GUI shop with basic items and utilities and voting only gives in game cash. There are no OP kits and the shop does not sell unfair advantages.
Donations are totally optional and only give cosmetic or convenience perks. Overall the server feels like a chill place to play survival with people who just want a simple fair SMP without weird gimmicks or pressure.

This server is called NoRulesNoBans and it is exactly what it sounds like. It is an anarchy pvp survival world where players can do pretty much anything.
You can grief bases and steal items and kill other players. There are no real rules so you have to be ready for chaos all the time. If you build something you better be ready to defend it or move a lot.
The server runs on version 1.21.11 and the difficulty is set to hard. That means mobs hurt a lot and the world itself is scary even before you see other players.
If you want a Minecraft world with no protection and no safety where every item feels like it actually matters this server fits that style.
