LumaMC is a survival server built around Towny so you can claim land by making a town and growing it over time. You can join other towns or nations too and build with people while making alliances.

It has mcMMO so you can level up skills as you play. There are custom coded items with special abilities and there is a ranks system that gives different titles and abilities.

The economy is player based so gathering and trading matters. You can also work Jobs to earn cash and try to climb ranks or just get rich.

There are fishing competitions with custom fishing. There is an Artmap plugin so you can make map art. The world also has dynamic seasons and the time of day and weather sync to real life in the northern hemisphere.

There is also a Hoarder plugin where you sell bulk items for extra cash. The top 4 players get rewarded at the end of each Hoarder event. The server says it has a big roadmap and they want player feedback.

I found Aftermath SMP and it is a hard survival server where stuff you do actually matters. It is built for people who want real danger with fighting and raiding and smart plays.

Pvp is active and you can fight in most places outside the safe zones. Raiding is allowed so you can break in and take loot and outplay other players. They try to keep revenge fair so it is not just pointless base wipes and there are official wars where agreed groups can go full chaos.

There are limited safe zones for community areas and shops. They also say no pay to win so nobody gets unfair advantages.

Rules are strict on hacking like x ray and duping and unfair combat mods. No combat logging and no griefing just to ruin builds. Trash talk should stay in game and not get personal and they say they have strong anticheat and punish rule breakers hard.

Solarion SMP is a whitelisted Java survival server for 18+ players who want a long term world that still feels alive months later. It is inspired by Hermitcraft and it is all about creativity and people actually teaming up.

Season 7 started on 01/09/2026 so the world is fresh with lots left to explore. Seasons usually run about 6 to 8 months so you can take your time with big bases farms shops and projects.

The server does regular community stuff like ice boat racing and treasure hunts. There are also community districts with player made minigames parkour puzzles and shared builds.

It runs Java 1.21.x and it is hosted in Arizona USA with a global playerbase. There is optional proximity voice chat and BlueMap plus CoreProtect for rollback since there are no land claims. MineScape is a Minecraft MMORPG world that is trying to feel like a classic Old School RuneScape style adventure. You play on a big hand crafted map and you can roleplay while you travel and meet other players.

There are interactive custom NPCs and custom mobs so the world feels more alive. You can do custom quests and also solve clue scrolls for rewards.

The server has 22 custom skills like Attack Ranged Magic Woodcutting Mining Smithing Crafting and more. There are daily rewards plus pets cosmetics and titles. It also stays active and has leaderboards if you like to compete.

The Pen MC is a classic prison server that feels like the old 2014 style. It is barebones and grindy and it wants you to earn everything the slow way.

There is no instasell and you actually smelt ores yourself. To sell you have to move through PVP zones so it feels risky and tense. The rank path goes A to H and then Parole.

After you hit the top you can prestige and you can choose different ways to keep progressing. You can do the mining grind or go for custom fishing for money. You can also fight through a mob arena with boss waves for rewards. There is a bakery style cookie farming system with long term quests and leaderboards.

It also has parole so you can leave prison and build farms. Guards enforce contraband rules and illegal crops are high risk. You can rent cells and plots and use auction house and bounties. There are player shops parkour challenges and solitary confinement. The paid stuff can also be earned in game so it is not just instant OP kits.
