This is a new survival server that feels really chill and relaxed. It is an economy based SMP where the community is the main focus and people are just looking for friendly players who want to hang out and play together.
The server runs Java and Bedrock so lots of players can join. It is a no grief style server so people can build and not worry about their stuff getting ruined. There are plugins but it still keeps the normal Minecraft feel.
Some features are keep inventory so you do not lose items when you die grief prevention so your base stays safe player warps so you can visit other places fast and chest shops so players can trade and build an economy. There are more plugins like that which just make life easier.
It feels like a good place if you want to start fresh help shape a new world and slowly grow with a small friendly community.

GildedAbyss is a new modded SMP that is all about the community and how people interact with the world. The server is just starting up and Season 1 will begin once enough players join so it feels like a real world from day one.
The world has a ton of new biomes to explore with Biomes O Plenty and Terralith so everything looks fresh and interesting. There are special items you can get with different ways to obtain them so it feels rewarding when you figure it out.
There is also an ancestral archetype system where you pick a sub race in game and use its strengths to your advantage. On top of that there are more ores and new tools and weapons so progression feels more fun and not just the normal vanilla path.
The Create mod is in the pack so you can build machines and contraptions as long as they are reasonable. The owner wants lots of suggestions from players and there will be many events once the server really starts up so the world does not feel empty.
To join you go through a simple ticket style whitelist where you talk to the owner or a moderator and if you seem like a good fit you get added. It feels like they really want a solid and friendly group instead of random chaos.

Turnabout is a semi vanilla survival server that feels like a small friendly world.
It is 18 plus and whitelisted so the players are mostly adults who want a calm and social place to play. The server is in its second season with a fresh world so new players can jump in without feeling super behind.
The community is the main focus here. There are players from a lot of different places so it is pretty easy to find someone online to talk to or build with. The server is also LGBTQ plus friendly and has zero tolerance for hate so it feels safe to just be yourself.
There are regular events like hide and seek building contests and light roleplay stuff that make it easier to meet people and not just play alone. United Lands is a Minecraft server that feels like a big earth world where players build towns and nations and get into serious politics and wars. The map is based on the real world and players can claim really large areas and shape their own empires.
The server is Towny based so players can create or join towns and nations and protect their builds. There is a lot of roleplay and also a lot of PvP so people who like building or fighting can both have fun. There are custom gear and items and even funny foods like avocados and mac and cheese.
Players can choose from seven different jobs and level them up with skill trees. When you progress far enough you can unlock Masterwork Armor and special perks like extra sethomes and even flying inside your town. You can either join an existing town or start your own from nothing.
The economy is completely run by players. There are no admin shops and players use warps to set up their own stores. Some shops sell tons of items while others have the best prices so you have to explore to find good deals or try to run the best shop yourself.
The server is not pay to win. Anything from the store is only cosmetic and sponsorships do not give gameplay advantages. Everyone fights and builds on the same level so it feels fair.

Hydro SMP is a long term vanilla survival server that focuses on staying grief free and fair. The owners use performance mods and staff tools but the gameplay is still normal Minecraft survival.
The community is really big and active with thousands of people in the Discord. Some players have been around for years and new players join all the time. Big decisions for the server are voted on by everyone so the server feels very community driven.
Griefing cheating and similar stuff is not allowed at all. Staff uses tools to check what happened and can roll back builds so players can trust that their bases stay safe.
The server uses a custom resource pack that adds things like custom hats signs and banners. These are just cosmetic and do not change the gameplay. There are also things like proximity voice chat a live map and some small datapacks like dragon drops elytra and more building blocks.
