Iperios is an SMP where you can make your own nation and pick how it works. You can set up your own government with laws and ranks. If you do not want to run things you can join a nation that already exists.
The big thing here is geopolitics and wars. You level up McMMO skills and use them when your nation fights. There are resource camps in game that nations can conquer. Those give geopolitical resources that help your nation expand. There are also lots of resources and buildings you can create and the server has active support.
The server uses Dynmap plus McMMO and Essentials. It also has GriefPrevention and SilkSpawner. There are custom enchants with ExcellentEnchants.
To play you have to get whitelisted first. After that a staff member helps you start and gives you a beginner kit.
I found a brand new Minecraft server that is starting fresh on 1.21.11. It is going for that Hermit style vibe where people make cool builds and just chill and play together.
They also want to run fun minigames and events. The owner said they might do polls so the community can help pick custom stuff to add.

It has custom enchants with rarity tiers from common to legendary. The enchants can do more than damage like slowness poison weakness wither knockback lifesteal and even disabling enchants for a bit. Fights feel more like builds and counters instead of just first hit wins.
There are dungeons and bosses you enter through portals at the dungeons command. You clear rooms and fight elites for strong loot and materials. Minions can drop rare loot keys and crafting stuff. You can use boss totems in the right rooms to spawn bosses. There are both PvE and PvP dungeons.
The economy is based on playing. You sell items and level up sell multipliers by item type. Crops ores mob drops and spawners all matter. You can use a shop for basics or trade with other players in the auction.
PvP is part of the world with teams and raiding allowed. Insiding and scamming items are allowed too. Cheats and unfair advantages are blocked so it stays about skill gear and builds.
There is also a cosmetic wrap system so you can change how gear looks without changing stats. The server has an in game guide RTP teams leaderboards and a clean custom GUI so it is easy to learn.
