ForgeStone SMP is a modded Stoneblock 4 world where everyone starts underground and builds out from nothing. The whole server is about automation questing and making giant bases deep below the surface.
The server runs on dedicated hardware so it is made to handle big late game factories and crazy contraptions. It is meant for players who like to grind through quests and set up big systems instead of just rushing and leaving.
There is no whitelist and no application. You just join and start digging right away. You can play solo if you want or you can team up with other players and build together.
The staff keep bans on items to a minimum so people can actually play the pack how it was designed. They also say they plan to stay online for the long term so progress should be safe.
The community hangs out on Discord where people show off builds trade resources and help each other with quests and modded problems.

This is a Hermitcraft style Vanilla plus SMP that is made for 18 and older players. Season 3 just started so the world is still really fresh and most of it is not explored yet. Everyone is still building first bases and starting up shops so it feels like a busy new town.
The server uses proximity voice chat and it is required so you actually talk instead of just typing. It makes the world feel alive because you hear people when you run past their base or in caves.
There is a diamond based economy so players trade and make shops and try to become rich before everything is taken. It is not pay to win and it is focused on being fair and community driven.
The gameplay is Vanilla plus with small quality of life stuff like mob heads armor stand editing invisible item frames player riding and being able to sit. There is also Bluemap so you can see the world change over time and the dragon drops elytra when the end opens so everyone can get wings.
Right now the story is that the community all started on a big mushroom island and made a safe hub there. There are starter events like a starter house event and there will be an end release event soon. The vibe is chill and collaborative and it looks like a good place if you just want to build hang out and be part of a long running season.

This is a new survival SMP called LavaNetwork. It is in beta and feels pretty calm and simple. The world is still fresh and there is not a lot built yet.
The server is mostly vanilla and has land claiming so people can protect their builds. It seems like the community is friendly and likes to chill and talk.
It is good for players who enjoy basic survival and building. If you want to join a server from the start and help shape the world this server fits that really well.

North Survival is a semi vanilla server that feels simple but still has some helpful features. It is not overloaded with crazy plugins so you still get that normal Minecraft feeling but a bit smoother.
You can use villagers with easy clicking so trading and managing stuff is faster. There is RTP so you can find a building spot right away without walking forever. You can use TPA to teleport and play with your friends which makes it easier to stick together.
The server has a custom UI and a protected spawn so new players do not get messed with right away. It also runs on version 1.21.4 and supports all 1.21 clients so it is updated to the newest stuff.
From what I can see the performance is stable so it does not lag a lot and it seems focused on survival with PvP so you can build but also fight if you want.

This server is called Entrapped and it is a hardcore Attack on Titan lore world. Humanity is stuck inside walls and death is permanent so every choice you make really matters a lot.
The server follows the Attack on Titan story in order and events happen like the canon timeline until players change them by surviving or failing. There is no teleportation so traveling is slow and scary. Horses are super important because you train them and ride them into combat and on expeditions.
Outside the walls if you die it is over. The server has a Humanity Supply System that tracks food materials and other stuff people need to live. Supplies can run out so players have to go on expeditions farm and hunt or everyone is in trouble.
You get stronger by killing titans doing missions and going on expeditions. This unlocks passive abilities and specializations. The economy actually matters because money lets you buy gear weapons property organizations and your own private missions.
Wall defense fights titan outbreaks and training events are all permadeath so you cannot just rush in and be dumb. Titans stick around and surviving is never guaranteed.
The community is closed and they are looking for serious players who want a high stakes story and are okay with waiting for waves of access. If you like hardcore lore servers this is built for you.
