Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy server that tries to feel really close to vanilla survival. It started on October 11th 2024 and it runs all day and night.
You can join with Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 but they say 1.21.10 works the best. The world border is 2 million blocks in every direction so there is a lot of land to explore and hide in.
The server has almost no rules for gameplay. Griefing is allowed and PvP is allowed and there are no map resets. There is no pay to win at all and there is no normal teleporting. The only command they let you use that is not vanilla is spawn so you can get back to other players if you went really far.
They also allow people to use the nether roof. Phantoms are turned off so the night is a little less annoying and only half the players have to sleep to skip the night.
There are still some rules for fairness. You are not allowed to use exploits or lag machines or dupes. You cannot spam chat and you cannot use harassment or racial slurs. So you still get chaos but not total garbage chat.
If you want a long term world with simple survival and almost no plugins this server is actually pretty cool.

Solarian SMP Season 7 is an 18 plus survival server that feels really relaxed and friendly. It has a brand new world so everybody is starting fresh and can build up from nothing together.
The server is focused on long term play and people who just want to chill and hang out. Seasons usually last around six to eight months so there is enough time for big builds and slow progress without feeling rushed.
There is a shopping district where players run their own shops and use diamonds to trade. It is all about a community economy and people trading with each other instead of some huge admin shop.
Rules are pretty minimal. The main one is to not be an ass. The staff says they are not power tripping and the server is very community focused so players help shape how things feel.
You have to be 18 or older and you need to be whitelisted. There is an application where they try to learn who you are as a person and not just how good you are at Minecraft. If you get denied you can try again later for a second chance.

Pentaxis SMP is a Minecraft server that is super focused on roleplay. Every player starts out as someone who came from another dimension and now they ended up in the overworld together. The dimension you pick decides your starting story and where you begin and how your character feels about all of this.
There are five custom dimensions made by the admins. One is a loose group that follows a big shared plan. Another is a mix of tribes that fight to survive and believe strength brings peace. There is an order that worships a higher being and follows a trinity idea. There is also a group of former nomads that now carry the legacy of a huge old empire. The last one is a strict and exclusive order that uses strong traditions to fight off doom.
The exact themes of each dimension are still hidden from most players so it feels mysterious when you join. Everyone is in the same overworld but they come from very different backgrounds. You can build alliances and make enemies or just chill and have fun building and hanging out.
From what I see the server is all about telling your own story with other players. You choose your side and then you decide if you want to stay loyal to your home dimension or go your own way. It is a good place if you like lore and roleplay and want to shape the world with your character.

Lumenor SMP just opened up its second season and it feels really fresh and new.
The server is survival with lots of plugins that make the world feel more interesting. There are custom biomes and terrains plus cool structures like dungeons and towers. The caves are bigger and better so exploring is actually exciting.
At spawn there are 2 mini games you can play when you do not feel like grinding. The staff is very active and they answer questions almost right away. The server says it runs 24 7 and it uses 1.21.1 with plugins that let other versions join.
It looks like a place for boys and girls and men and women who just want to hang out and have fun on a chill SMP with some extra spice.

This server is called Sparked SMP and it is a chill long term world on Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric. It is made for people who like building and talking with others kind of like a hermitcraft style but still original.
When you join it feels super simple and very close to vanilla. There is no giant wall of text everywhere and no crazy menus. There are no warps and no land claims and only a few quality of life things. It honestly feels like joining a world that a friend just started up for everyone.
The server is trust based but the admins still protect builds with mods behind the scenes. They stay active and they are open about server costs server specs and bans so it feels mature and honest.
They use some Vanilla Tweaks datapacks like more mob heads armor stands posing player heads and stuff like that plus proximity voice chat and a map called Bluemap. None of the mods remove normal vanilla features so it still plays like regular Minecraft.
The community is meant to be close knit and more adult so it is for people who want a social server and not a bunch of spammy features.
