I found this server called Anarchy Network and it is a semi anarchy world that tries to feel like pure vanilla survival. It launched in October 2024 and it is hosted in New York City so it feels pretty stable and it is on all the time.
You can join with a ton of Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 and they recommend you use 1.21.10 so stuff works right. The world border is huge with two million blocks so you can run super far and hide if you want.
The gameplay is simple and kind of brutal. There are no map resets and no teleport commands other than a basic spawn command. There is no pay to win at all. Griefing and PVP are fully allowed so bases are never really safe. Nether roof travel is allowed. Phantoms are removed so nights are less annoying and only half the people online have to sleep to skip the night.
Even though it is semi anarchy there are still a few rules. You are not allowed to use dupes or exploits or lag machines. You also cannot spam chat or use harassment or racial slurs. Besides that the server really lets players do what they want and just survive or fight in a big dangerous world.
