Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy Minecraft server that tries to feel like pure vanilla survival with almost no rules. It opened on October 11th 2024 and it runs all the time on a strong host in New York City.
You can join on almost any Java version from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10. The server recommends 1.21.10 so things do not break. There is a huge world border that goes out to 2 million blocks so you can travel super far and hide your base.
The server does not reset the map and there is no teleporting and no pay to win at all. Griefing and PvP are fully allowed so you have to be careful who you trust. The only extra command is spawn so players far away can get back to other people. Nether roof access is allowed and phantoms are turned off and only half the players need to sleep to skip the night.
Even with the anarchy style there are a few rules. You cannot use exploits or lag machines or duping. You also cannot spam or harass people or use racial slurs in chat. Other than that the server just lets players do what they want in survival.
If you like risky survival and long term worlds with very few limits this server feels really good.

Quiet Horizon is a small modded Java SMP for players who like relaxed survival and building. It uses Fabric 1.21.1 and the modpack runs through CurseForge with a private join code.
The world has been going for about a month and a half. There are land claims turned on so you can protect your builds. Some shared areas are starting to appear and there is still a lot of untouched land for new players to settle in.
The modpack is made to be performance friendly. There is no pay to win and no weird gimmicks. You can build what you want inside your claim and just play at your own pace.

The Pastlands is a modded SMP that feels like a real world and not a short hype server. It uses a custom CurseForge modpack that gets updated every two weeks so things stay fresh but your progress still matters.
The server is all about Create automation MineColonies magic and big exploration. There are lots of structure and worldgen mods so the world feels huge and full of stuff to find. It is really good for players who like building giant bases running colonies messing with magic or just roaming around.

This server is a gens style world but with a big twist. You still grind generators but the real focus is on special abilities called Techniques. Each Technique is like an element power that changes how you fight.
Right now there are four Techniques. Water feels more supportive and can stun. Fire is all about burst damage and aggression. Wind is about movement and spacing so you can control fights. Electric hits really hard and is tanky too. The owner says more Techniques are planned like earth or ice and more.
There are custom items that make PvP feel different. There is a grappling hook so you can move around fast or chase people. There are stackable totems so you can bring more lives into fights. They also plan more custom items and balance updates for combat.
The gameplay sits between generators economy and PvP ability combat and utility items. It feels fast paced but still grindy enough if you like long term play. You can focus on getting stronger generators or learning how to use your abilities better in fights.

This is a new Minecraft server that is all about hardcore survival with limited lives. The world has only been open for less than a month so it still feels fresh and not totally picked clean.
You start in a small protected spawn area where you get invisibility and regeneration and some starter items. The idea is to help you escape spawn and get into the wild fast. After that it is just you and vanilla Minecraft.
The server is true vanilla. There is no tpa and no home commands. There are no ranks and no pay to win perks. You just play normal survival and everything you get you earn by playing.
The server runs in hardcore style. If you die you get temporarily banned from the server so every fight and every cave trip is actually risky. You really have to be careful.
