Foggy Willows is a server for people who want real vanilla Minecraft. It runs on the normal minecraft server jar with no plugins and no datapacks so the game feels like single player but with other people.
There is no big fancy spawn or long rules wall. You just spawn in and start surviving. Players are expected to handle their own problems with each other. You can play how you want and build what you want. Technical players are welcome too.
The server is always on the latest stable vanilla jar. It is self hosted on a machine that was made just to run it. There are no donations and no world border.

This is a vanilla Minecraft server that is made for adults only and it has been running since 2023. The server is going into Season 5 on January 24 2026.
The whole idea is for people who do not have a lot of time and do not want crazy grind or speedrunning. It feels cozy and safe and relaxed. You can log in after work or after school or whenever and just build a house and chill.

I found this server called UneasyVanilla and it is a vanilla anarchy world with no hacking allowed. It has been running since March 10th 2020 so the world feels old and lived in.
The idea is to play Minecraft the way the developers made it. There are no gameplay changing plugins. There is no teleport and no sethome. There is no grief protection. There is no forced economy so players make their own trades and groups.
Griefing and raiding are allowed so you always have to watch your back. People can attack your base and steal your stuff. But hacks and cheats are not allowed so fights are more fair and based on real skill.
When you join you can run into random players anywhere. Sometimes you might team up with them and sometimes they might try to kill you. You can build huge projects or just wander and survive. It feels like a risky survival world where anything can happen.

The server is always updated and right now it is on 1.21.11. It has grief protection with tools to check what happened so your builds and items are safer from griefing or stealing.
