ShovelCraft is a semi vanilla SMP where people care more about building and stories than rushing the end of the game. The server is made for long term play and the world is not planned to reset so everything you build and all the history actually matters.
The map is split into two zones. In the Green Zone around spawn you play with no pvp and no stealing or griefing. It is all about towns trading and shared lore. In the Red Zone farther out pvp is on and stealing is allowed so you can have battles and tension but still no griefing. This keeps bases and builds safe while still letting people fight for fun and story.
The End is turned off so there are no elytras or shulker farms. Everyone travels by land sea and Nether which makes roads and ships and portals really important. There is a diamond based economy and you can level up your team with diamonds to unlock perks like more warps shared storage and extra member slots.
There are seasonal competitions that give lore themed rewards like armor trims and shulker boxes. The gameplay is mostly vanilla with some simple quality of life commands like home tpa duel and shops. There are no pay to win ranks or donor perks and voice chat is optional if you want to talk while you play. The server runs on version 1.21.10 and supports both Java and Bedrock players.

Cherry Block is a small smp server that feels like a relaxed home in Minecraft. It has a really friendly and tight community and people seem to actually talk and hang out instead of just rushing everything.
The server is mostly classic survival and it keeps that old school Minecraft feeling. There are some quality of life tweaks from Vanilla Tweaks so the game is smoother but it still feels like real survival and still has challenge.
The rules are simple and strict in a good way. You have to be kind to others and treat them how you want to be treated. Griefing and stealing are not allowed so builds and bases are safe. Cheating and hacking are also not allowed so everyone plays fair.
The community has been active since 2019 so it is not some random server that will vanish right away. People like to build big projects go on adventures and just relax together. If you want a long term place to play survival and make friends this server is a good choice.

Luminary Falls is a long term survival server that is made for adults who really like Minecraft. The world is meant to last so people can keep their builds for a long time and not worry about constant resets.
The server is whitelist only and it is for players who are 18 or older. There are players from all over the world so there is usually someone online at any time of day. The community tries to be welcoming and it is LGBTQ plus friendly.
It runs on Java and also lets Bedrock players join so more friends can play together. The server uses quality of life plugins and datapacks that try to keep the game close to vanilla while still making things smoother and more fun.
The staff has a lot of experience running servers and they focus on keeping the place positive and safe. You are expected to read the rules and fill out a whitelist application so everyone who joins is serious about playing and being part of the community.
If you like exploring building farming redstone or doing events with other people this server has players who enjoy all of that and are active every week.

This server feels like an old school survival world that someone just decided to keep forever. It is not a network or a minigame place and it is not some quick reset world. It is meant to be long term with no planned resets so builds actually matter.
The world is on hard difficulty and it is plain survival. There are no land claims and no teleports so people actually travel and walk around. It is based on trust but it is also easy to report grief or theft if it happens.
PvP is turned on but it is only allowed when everyone agrees so random killing is not ok. There are no payments or donations or perk ranks. Everyone is here to just play together and keep the game simple.
The players are calm and friendly and they actually talk in chat instead of ignoring each other. When you first join you can explore right away but you will not be able to break blocks or pick up items until you read the rules on their Discord and learn how to unlock interaction. This keeps the world protected while still feeling open.

Campfire SMP is a small 18 plus server that wants to stay around for years and not reset every month. It is semi vanilla and whitelisted so it feels like a chill home with people who actually stick around.
The world runs on Purpur 1.21.11 and the owner self hosts it 24 7 on strong hardware in Las Vegas. There is a 40k by 40k world border which is still huge and they plan to expand it with major updates.
The server uses a few plugins and data packs that keep the game close to normal survival. There is no tpa and no home command so you have to travel and build real roads and nether paths. They use stuff like Coreprotect and Squaremap simple voice chat and some cosmetic tools like name colors and art maps and image frames.
Players already built a shopping district with a diamond based economy plus nether highways a battle arena and a mini games district. You can tell people like projects and shared areas and they hang out a lot in voice chat just building or playing other games or talking.
Everyone has to be 18 or older and most people are in their 20s or 30s or even 40s. It feels like a relaxed adult survival server where you can join a small community and actually plan long term builds without worrying the world will reset next month.
