NerdNu is a medium sized server that feels very old school and chill. It has a strong community and mostly vanilla gameplay so it feels like classic Minecraft with friends.
The PvE server is survival with no PvP so you only have to worry about mobs. Players team up to build towns and cities and the PvE map reset on September 19 so the world is still pretty fresh. There are regular games on Fridays and Saturdays like spleef thimble and ice boat races plus special events like Daisy's Color Classroom where you match hexcodes to armor dyes.
There is also a Creative server that uses a mix of natural and custom terrain. You can protect your builds and you get WorldEdit for free if you want it. The creative world started a new revision on June 22 2024 and they run community minigames like Spleef and Speed Build on alternating Saturdays.
They even have a Snapshot server that is separate from the other two. It does not run official revisions and is there for people who want to mess around with the latest snapshot style gameplay.

Electron SMP is a small survival server that really wants players to talk and interact. It is semi vanilla so it feels like normal Minecraft with a big focus on community.
The server is whitelist only so you have to apply and bad applications do not get in. They even like video applications. Spawn is built by the whole community and griefing is not allowed so people actually work together. Bases are supposed to be above ground and there is CoreProtect to catch people hiding stuff underground.
Pvp is allowed so you can fight players and steal items but you are not allowed to grief builds or kill villagers. There are no kits and no pvp zones so the gameplay stays close to vanilla survival. Crystal SMP is a small survival server that feels kind of like semi anarchy but still has rules so it does not turn into total chaos. It runs on Neo Forge 1.21.1 and uses custom world generation and a few quality of life tweaks plus light cosmetic stuff so the world looks more interesting.
The map is 10000 by 10000 blocks so there is a lot of space. The End just opened so people are still setting up nations decorating spawn and building their own lore. There is also a storage mod and extra block variants so builds can look really detailed.
The rules are made to keep fights fun but fair. You cannot destroy important progression blocks like trial vaults or end portals. You cannot raid offline players. If you want to raid or start combat you have to warn the other player at least one minute before it begins. Players also respect lootr chests and do not break them. Staff moderation is fast and strict so problems get handled quickly.
