Aurex SMP is a new public SMP that just opened up and it is run by a team of YouTubers who want to tell stories inside Minecraft.
It is structured and cinematic with planned arcs and character roles. The goal is high production and a serious story driven vibe from the start.
They are looking for actors who like roleplaying and can commit to a character with good energy. They also want builders and redstoners who can make strong medieval and fantasy builds and help create immersive locations and contraptions.
If you do not want to play a role you can still join and be part of the community.
I found a new Minecraft server that is still being built and it is looking for beta testers. The owner wants people to join and help test things while the server is in development.
Right now it has Factions and Prisons and SMP. There are lots of ranks planned and more plugins that will be added later. The goal is to make it more fun over time and turn it into a big community.
They also want to add more game modes in the future like Skyblock and Bedwars. For now it is just the start so expect changes and updates as people test it.
THE BOYS SMP is a 13+ semi vanilla survival server for people who want to chill grind build and just play normal survival with friends.
It stays close to the classic vanilla feel and it does not mess with overpowered stuff or pay to win systems. It uses small quality of life changes to keep the game smoother.
The server is whitelist only so people get approved before joining. That helps keep out griefers hackers and random trolls and the staff tries to keep things fair and calm.
It runs on version 1.21.11 and it uses the Simple Voice Chat mod so you can talk to players near you in game. PvP is allowed with rules so it is not an anarchy place and respect matters.
People are encouraged to build near spawn make towns start shops and actually interact. You can go solo or join a group base and just hang out.
I found Imperium SMP and it is a semi anarchy teams server that is built around competition and constant player interaction.
The main goal is to climb the rankings with your team and try to be the best. PvP matters a lot because when you kill someone you take 5 percent of their money so hunting people is part of the grind.
Trading is a big deal here since there is no auction house so you have to talk to players and make deals face to face.
The world border is 10000 by 10000 so it can feel tight and dangerous. You can get griefed or jumped way easier which makes teams and rivalries happen fast.
The server is currently in development so it sounds like they are still building it up.
Idle SMP is a Java 1.21.11 Paper survival server that feels more like a hangout than a battlefield. It started from a Warframe community and now it is a chill place where people build stuff and make friends instead of focusing on PVP and griefing. The server is about a month old so there is still tons of room for new players to leave a mark.
It has a vanilla enhanced vibe with a custom modpack option mentioned for players who want that. There is BlueMap so you can see the world and it also has Discord chat so people can stay connected. The server runs a diamond backed economy and a custom fishing system helps support it. There is also a growing shopping district with player run shops.

They say there are no pay to win packages and any support is cosmetic only. The server is hosted in the EU with good ping for US and global players and has an 80 player cap.
