This is a community SMP that feels like a big friend group. It is made by the players for the players and everyone helps shape how the server grows.
The server is built around a Hermitcraft style survival world. There is a diamond based economy and a proper shopping district plus public builds and big community projects. Players can talk with proximity chat so it feels way more like you are actually near each other in game.
It is mostly vanilla but with some quality of life stuff. You get homes and player warps and a few cosmetic and fun plugins. New plugins are added only if the community wants them and they use polls to decide. The idea is to keep the vanilla Minecraft feeling while still letting the server expand when players choose.
The server runs on Minecraft 1.21.10 and it is Java only. It is whitelisted and only for players who are 18 or older so the vibe is more mature and relaxed.
There are usually around 5 to 20 people on during the day and an active group of about 100 players overall. People also like to play other games together outside of Minecraft. They are always looking for more people to join and they seem really happy to welcome new players.

Elysium is a small Java server that just reopened with a fresh start in early November. It used to be public back in 2022 then it closed at the start of 2024. Now it is back and looking for mostly 18 plus players to join the community.
There are three main worlds. Survival is on 1.21.10 with a 10k by 10k border and mcMMO skills. It tries to feel more vanilla since teleport commands are off except for a bed home. People use Nether roof travel instead. There is also a shopping district at spawn where players can set up chest shops and diamonds are the money.
Plots gives players 85 by 85 creative plots so you can build in peace. You start with one plot and can earn more by ranking up in the build ranks.
Creative is a superflat freebuild world for bigger builds and community projects. You can work together if everyone agrees. Griefing or changing someone else build without permission is not allowed.

VW Reloaded is a long running Minecraft server that has been up for over 10 years and it does not reset the world. The whole point is that your builds and farms and progress are supposed to last so it feels like a real home.
It has Survival and Skyblock. People on here build big bases and huge farms and also do serious redstone projects. There are custom mechanics but it is not trying to be confusing.

The community is small and active and it is around ages 15 and up. PvP is allowed and it feels chill but semi competitive and teamwork is encouraged with minimal rules as long as you are not toxic.
