AlkalineCraft is a new beta factions server that tries to make Minecraft feel fun again. The server is mostly custom scripted and focuses on factions pvp mining progression and a clean economy that connects to ALK.
You can make your own faction invite your friends rank your members and fight other groups for power. There is an outpost style pvp area where factions fight for control and earn power so it is really about who can work together and win battles.
The mining system is called ALK Mining. Every block you mine builds up your balance. At the end of the season you can use the withdraw command to pull out your ALK on pump dot fun. So mining actually matters a lot and not just for gear.
You can set homes to save your base and use commands to go back to spawn or teleport into the wilderness or check help. The server is still in beta so they are adding stuff like lucky mining events special items leaderboards and more little features.
The owners want people to test find bugs and give feedback so the full release can be better. Java and Bedrock players can both join so the community can be mixed and more active.

I found a tight knit modded Minecraft network with a bunch of nice people and some really good builders. The vibe is chill but also kind of unhinged in a funny way and they even joke about blood sacrifices.

I found this Towny survival server called GamerHub Towny and it is super new. It started as a setup for streaming and now it is trying to grow with more players.
The vibe feels chill but also a little competitive. Griefing and stealing are not allowed so it is more about building towns and playing fair. The community is welcoming and helps new players and most players are in the US.
It has ingame ranking that uses ingame money. There is a dynmap so you can see the world easier. You can use player warps and player shops and there is a sell only server shop. It also has jobs and MCMMO.

The world is almost 5 years old and it has never been reset and they say they do not plan to reset it.
There are a bunch of custom features like Lilac Saplings with over 200 custom trees for decorating. There are also custom mob arenas with different difficulties and buffs and debuffs and challenges and maps and mobs. They also made custom farming fishing and mining to keep endgame players busy.
