Elysium is a small Java server with a whitelist and it is looking for 18+ players. It used to be public in 2022 then it closed at the start of 2024 and now it is back with a fresh server from the beginning of November. There are a few long time members still around and some are 16+ but new players are meant to be adults.
There are three main worlds you can play on. Survival is a 1.21.10 world with a 10k by 10k border and it has mcMMO skills. Most teleport commands are off so it feels more vanilla and people use Nether roof travel instead plus you can use a bed home. There is also a shopping district at spawn where players make chest shops and diamonds are the money.
Plots gives you 85 by 85 build plots so your builds stay safe. You start with one plot and can get more by moving up build ranks. Creative is a superflat freebuild world for bigger community builds and higher ranks. It is not ok to grief or change someone elses build without permission.
There is also a Hub world for traveling between worlds and hanging out and it has an amphitheater for gatherings and events. A second Creative world exists too and it is a perk for build ranks so builders can show off in a more exclusive space. ArcticMC is a new survival server that started just a couple days ago. It feels like a calm place where people can build and explore without nonstop chaos.
