Lounge SMP is a chill semi vanilla survival server where people like to take their time and just enjoy Minecraft. The server is meant to last a long time and there are no resets so your builds actually matter.
From what I have seen the community is pretty relaxed and active. People seem friendly and there is not a lot of drama. It feels like a place where you can just log on after school and hang out.
You can claim land so your stuff is safe from griefers. There is also a simple economy with jobs so you can earn money in game without things getting too crazy or confusing.
The server runs weekly events that give people something fun to do together. There are player warps so it is easy to visit other bases and places people have made.
There is voice chat support if you like talking while playing. PvP is not forced either because there is a toggle so you only fight when you actually want to.
There is also a bedrock port so both Java and Bedrock players can join the same world and play together.

This is a vanilla whitelist SMP for people who really like building and being social. It is made for friendly players who want to make cool bases and hang out together instead of just doing PvP all the time.
The server is inspired by Hermitcraft so there is a player run shopping district and people are encouraged to make lore and groups and fun stories. There are a few Vanilla Tweaks style plugins like multiplayer sleep to keep things smooth but it still feels like normal Minecraft.
The community is small on purpose and they want around forty to forty five players max so it keeps that small server feeling where everyone can actually know each other. There is also a separate creative server where members can plan big builds and work together before they do it in survival.
The server is hosted in North America East but anyone from anywhere can join. It is an 18 plus server and they do not allow any NSFW stuff at all. The SimpleVC mod is required for all members so everyone can use voice chat.
They might ask for ID if they think someone is not really over 18 but they only need the date of birth and everything else can be blurred. Applications are reviewed against each other so you should write a good quality application if you want to join.

This is a modded Create SMP called ZincNBrass and it runs on Minecraft 1.21.1. The whole server is built around the Create mod and a bunch of Create add ons so it is all about machines and cool contraptions.
The server also uses mods like Supplementaries Chipped and Macaw’s so players can build nice bases decorate a lot and make really detailed factories. You can design train networks set up your own shops and grow a big industrial base with other players.
The community feels really friendly and casual. It is a chill place if you want to play with friends or meet new people. Players here like automation engineering and working together and they also help if you are new to Create.
The world is brand new and the modpack is made by the owner. They are also open to suggestions for more mods so the server can grow with the players who join.

This server is called 6b6t and it is an anarchy server like 2b2t but without a queue.
Every day there are around 150 to 250 players online so the world feels active and crazy all the time. You can join on Java or Bedrock or MCPE and even cracked players can get in.
There are no rules and no queue so you just join and play in the chaos. People fight raid and destroy stuff and it is all allowed. If you want that classic anarchy feeling fast this server is made for that.

This server is trying really hard to be a pure vanilla survival world and also a home for redstone nerds. The owner switched the whole thing to Fabric so a bunch of redstone players could join and they really loved it at first.
When more and more people joined it started to lag a lot. With around 30 players online the tps dropped super low and the game got almost unplayable. The owner is using a strong dedicated pc so that made it even more shocking.
Now the server kind of shows why so many big servers use paper for performance. But the community is still open to ideas and they want people to join and see what it is like. Anyone can hop in and check out the survival world and the redstone stuff and also talk about what could make it better.
The vibe is friendly and a bit chaotic. People are learning what works and what does not and they just want to play Minecraft together even when the lag hits.
