WizeCraft is a mature Minecraft server that wants players who are at least 21 and who care about being decent. The vibe is chill and not competitive and it is meant to be a forever world where people keep building and hanging out.
The server started as a friends server in August 2025 and opened to public applications in September 2025. The Ender Dragon was beaten on October 11 2025 and people got elytras soon after so the world is already moving but it is still welcoming to new players.
I saw that there are shops at spawn and some auto farms already set up. You can buy materials with diamond currency so it is easier to get going and start building.
It is whitelist only and you have to apply so they can keep out griefing and stealing. Rules are strict about no bigotry no cheating no griefing and no PVP unless both players agree. As of January 12 2026 the server is on version 1.21.11 and it usually has a small group online with about 20 active players total.

The Pen MC is a classic prison server that feels like the old 2014 style where you actually have to grind. There is no instant selling and you are not meant to get overpowered right away. You mine and you smelt ores yourself then you take the risk of going through pvp zones to sell.
Progression is a full rank ladder from A to H and then you can reach Parole. After you max out ranks you can prestige and you can pick how you want to keep progressing instead of being forced into one path.
Mining is the main old school vibe but there are other ways to earn too. There is custom fishing that can keep up with the grind. There is a mob arena with waves and boss fights where groups can earn money and shards through combat.
There is also a cookie farming bakery system where you farm wheat and cocoa then bake cookies with custom mechanics. You can do long term cookie quests compete on leaderboards and turn baked cookies into higher tier rewards.
