Realm of Thrones is a small but growing SMP where players try to build kingdoms that actually last. The whole point is nations and history. People claim land and build cities castles and trade hubs while the world keeps moving forward.
The server uses the Lands plugin for claiming and managing territory. You can form alliances and also go to war with rival empires. It feels more like strategy because your land turns into a real civilization over time.
There is an economy with player run shops and also a server shop. You can do jobs that pay you while you level skills and there is McMMO progression too. There is legendary fishing and crates and rewards.
Technology and industry are a big deal here because Minetorio components let players build automated factories. Ranks can be earned with in game money and playtime so you always have something to work toward.
They also said advanced farming is coming soon with new custom crops and extra farming mechanics so farming can be a real progression path for kingdoms.

I found a small semi vanilla SMP that is being tested right now.
They said the real start is in about a week so it feels like a little pre launch time where people can get ready and hang out.
It is meant to stay close to normal Minecraft survival with a small group vibe.

BackToBlocks is a mostly vanilla survival server that tries to keep the classic Minecraft feeling. It adds a few helpful commands like sethome and spawn so getting around is not a pain.
The server has a community built spawn and the staff run events. There is also a decorated End Island and a Nether Hub so late game travel feels nicer.
Players can use light QoL stuff like tpa. Extra warp spots can be unlocked from voting rewards so active players get more travel options without changing the main survival vibe.
It is not trying to be a PvP server but PvP and raiding are allowed within limits. There is no griefing and it is not pay to win so the progress feels fair. There is even an itemflip command if you want to gamble items just for fun.

Solaris SMP is a small relaxed survival server made for adults who want a stable long term place to play. It is inspired by Hermitcraft and it sticks close to classic Minecraft with a Vanilla plus feel.
Season 2 started Feb 7th and The End opened recently. The server is hosted in US Central Dallas and the playerbase is mostly European and American. The world is open with monthly pruning.
It has proximity voice chat and also lets Discord and in game chat talk to each other. There is a live Bluemap you can use in your browser.
People use a diamond based economy and shops are encouraged. Suggestions for new content get talked about and voted on before they are added.
There are tools for safety like CoreProtect and Ledger for grief help and rollback. There are extras like an AudioPlayer for music armor stand posing mini blocks and mob or player heads. There is also a creative planning server with Axiom and WorldEdit for build testing. They use Carpet for stuff like renewable sponges and coral and Vanilla Tweaks like elytra from the dragon fast leaf decay renewable sand and more.
They are looking for players who talk using Discord or voice chat join events and help with community builds and competitions.

I found a European anarchy server with a permanent world so it does not reset. It runs on version 1.21.11 and it is based in Finland so it should feel smooth for EU players.
It uses custom written plugins to make the gameplay feel different and more unique. The server also talks about having reasonable hardware and a strong network so it should handle the chaos pretty well.
