This server is a semi vanilla survival world that is all about community and building cool stuff that actually lasts. It feels like a real SMP where people stay and keep playing instead of just hopping in and out.
The main world is protected with land claiming so you use a golden shovel to keep your builds safe. There is no griefing allowed so your base will not get randomly destroyed. It is PvE focused and there is no keep inventory so dying still matters and it feels like real survival.
The economy is based on diamonds which is kind of classic and really fun. Players run their own shops and there is a shops menu so you can browse and buy gear and items fast without running all over the map.
There are separate resource worlds so people can mine and farm blocks there without wrecking the main world. There is also a live world map you can open in your browser so you can see the world and plan where to go.
The server works for both Java and Bedrock so more players can join and play together. There are ranks and vote rewards too so you can earn perks just by playing and supporting the server.
The community feels really friendly and they run weekly events so there is usually something to do besides just grinding. It is a server that feels like a long term place to hang out build explore and meet other players who like survival.

This is a small survival server that is made for chill adult players who like to take it slow. It runs on Fabric and has a bunch of simple quality of life mods so it still feels mostly like normal Minecraft.
The world has cool tectonic style terrain with big continents and there is an online map where you can see bases regions and markers. There is proximity voice chat so people can just talk when they are close and small tweaks like fast tree chopping easier crop harvesting better mending invisible item frames and extra shulker shells.
The server is 18 plus only. There is no griefing no stealing no wars and no drama allowed. KeepInventory is on and creeper blasts do not break blocks. The focus is building hanging out and making a player driven economy not speedrunning.
Right now it is just the owner and a friend and they want to grow it to around fifteen players. Spawn is turning into a shared starter town and shopping area and there is a world border with a radius of 12.5k so the map is big but not endless.
The owner is from the Netherlands and mostly plays on Thursday and Friday evenings in CET and sometimes streams so if you are online then your voice might be on stream. You do not have to stream yourself and you can just join and help shape the server as it grows.

Rosedalean SMP is a new survival server that just opened and it is looking for founding members. It is for players who are 18 or older and it is whitelisted so it feels more safe and close. It runs enhanced vanilla with add ons so you do not need any mods to join.
The server has simple voice chat so you can actually talk while you play and it uses Terralith style biomes so exploring feels way more interesting. There is an easy ticket system so you can get help when you need it and there is also a blue map so you can see how the world looks as people explore.
The community is meant to be fun and welcoming and they like doing events together. There is an upcoming end event where everyone will team up to defeat the dragon. You can join or make a faction if you like playing with groups and want your own little community inside the server.
They take player suggestions seriously and want the community to help shape how the server grows. Since it just released last week it is still early so new players can become part of the original team and help build everything from the start.

Windflow SMP is a new semi vanilla survival server that is just about to start Season 1 so it feels like getting in on the ground floor. The world is fresh and everyone is starting together which makes it way less scary to join.
From what I can see the server uses a custom coded plugin that adds a bunch of useful features. It also uses some quality of life mods like Simple Voice Chat and Easy Villagers and a few others so it feels close to normal Minecraft but smoother to play.
They also have a custom Discord bot that lets players set up and manage teams directly through the bot. So it looks like the server is built around people grouping up and working together instead of playing totally alone.
Overall it feels like a chill survival SMP with some smart extras where the staff actually put work into custom plugins and tools instead of just running a plain server.

Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy survival server that tries to feel really close to normal vanilla Minecraft. It has only a few rules and not many changes so most stuff feels like singleplayer but with other players trying to kill you.
The world is huge with a border way out there so people can spread out and build or hide. There are no map resets so anything you build or destroy is meant to stay. Griefing and PvP are fully allowed so you always have to watch your back.
There is no teleporting and no pay to win stuff. The only command they let you use that changes the game is spawn so players who go super far away can still get back to other people. The nether roof is allowed. Phantoms are turned off and only half the server has to sleep to skip the night.
They do block anything that totally breaks the game. Things like exploits lag machines duping and spam are not allowed. Also harassment and racial slurs in chat are not allowed so the chat does not get totally toxic.
The server runs all the time and you can join from lots of Java versions including the newest one. It seems like a good place if you want freedom and chaos but still want some basic limits so the server does not get ruined.
